Lost in the mist in the Lake District, the lives of six strangers become entwined when they seek shelter in the deserted old house. All are running from different things – Amanda from a murder charge; City Boy Mark from financial ruin; Jilly from something she dares not confront; Angus and Dawn from his wife. The house has been recently occupied. The lights are on, a fire still burns, there’s a half-eaten meal on the table.
